Jennifer Gibbs
Managing Partner
Jennifer has been a managing partner at Gibbs Tillery since graduating from Emory Law school in 2009. A dedicated and tireless family law and estate planning attorney, Jennifer specializes in all aspects of domestic relations, including divorce, custody, support, visitation, modifications of custody, contempt, guardianships, and estate planning. In addition, Jennifer has been at the forefront of providing legal representation to same-sex couples even before the United States Supreme Court’s 2015 ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges extended marriage equality to same-sex couples.
Notable Experience
For more than 10 years, Jennifer taught history and coached basketball in the Missouri and Florida public and private school systems. She decided to leave teaching and went on to earn a master’s degree in Sports Administration, followed by earning her law degree from Emory School of Law.

Phyllis Morral Schneider
Attorney at Law
Phyllis Morral Schneider is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation to her clients. She received her Juris Doctorate with Honors from Emory University School of Law. She was the Class of 2021 Kessler-Edison Scholar, awarded for demonstrating excellence in trial advocacy.
In private practice, Phyllis has gained extensive experience in litigating a wide array of family law matters, including those relating to divorce, child custody, and contempt actions. She is particularly knowledgeable in representing the specific family law needs of current and former members of the United States Military and their families.
Before embarking on her legal education, Phyllis graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Milken Institute of Public Health at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she majored in Public Health and minored in Sociology.
Notable Experience
During her first year in law school, Phyllis began working in Decatur, Georgia. She also interned with the Barton Child Law and Policy Center.
In law school, she served on the Executive Board of the Emory Legal Association for Women Students, was an Emory Child, Family, and Elder Law Society member, and served as Managing Editor of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. During and after law school she was employed as a Law Clerk. Phyllis is currently a member of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers
Phyllis resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and their beloved dog, Augustus.
Dee Koscik
Office Manager and Legal Assistant
Dee Koscik brings a lifetime of dedication, organization, and leadership to her role as Office Manager at Gibbs Tillery. As the first voice clients hear, Dee provides a welcoming and reassuring introduction to the firm. She is responsible for managing the firm’s calendars, coordinating schedules, and overseeing invoicing with precision and care. Her ability to streamline operations and foster strong relationships supports the firm’s commitment to exceptional client service.
A retired teacher, coach, and administrator, Dee combines her expertise in communication and management to ensure the firm operates efficiently and effectively. Her extensive background in education and administration allows her to excel at creating an organized and client-focused environment, helping the firm navigate the complexities of family law with professionalism and empathy.
